I wrote a blog post a while back about good habits of self care. Sadly I have failed to keep up with these routines. Why is it so hard to do what is good for you?
One knows what makes them feel their best. Sometimes what makes them feel best takes effort and time to turn into habit. In some cases the changes take little effort or are minor changes. So why does a person not keep up with the habits which make them the happiest, most productive?
Many people, including myself, use the excuse of “Life getting in the way.” What is this excuse really? Part of life should be taking care of yourself and doing the best you can to be your best self.
So time to start again. Time to make the time for self care. For making the conscious choices which stop “life” from getting in the way.
